Johnny Barnes

Johnny Barnes worked at the City of Virginia Beach as a Utility Construction Inspector for over 30 years.  During this time he was fortunate to have worked with some of the best Engineers in the Hampton Roads area.  As a supervisor and overseeing many major projects for the City, Johnny saw first hand all details of site development.  When the cities of Hampton Roads first implemented that housing projects install retention ponds for storm water runoff, Johnny was there to see first hand the details of their construction.  After a while he began to grasp the necessity for these facilities.

Johnny is married and has 2 kids and 3 grandkids. He currently holds a Commercial Pesticide License in Virginia (License # BL-6761)
